A proud father about his proud daughter:

"Today marks an important and exciting day for us. As I have informed you earlier, Sakhi got selected as the Fashion Ambassador for Nordstrom - a leading high end fashion retailer headquartered in Seattle.

"As fashion ambassador, she will learn the ropes of how the retail and fashion industries work - a non paid training for the remainder of her year.

"On her first day as fashion ambassador at Nordstrom, she talked to her trainer and asked if she can actually work in a paid capacity. She got a employment form home and filled it up herself, scheduled a phone interview the following week and then went for an in-person interview yesterday.

"Today, she was offered a job as a Sales associate at Nordstrom and she starts working from Aug 22.

"I can't believe that my young girls are already standing on their own legs and giving flight to their dreams. As parents we cannot but feel proud because we aspire for our kids to be better than us, go further than us, attain more success than us - and live better than us!

"Pls join me in wishing Sakhi the best of everything as she starts her first job! I am super happy because she is starting in sales (my career path) and I wish she not only learns the ropes but continues to live life to the fullest, fulfilling her dreams!⁠⁠⁠⁠"
